National Infertility Awareness Week April 22-28, 2018

“National Infertility Awareness Week is April 22-28, 2018. NIAW is a collaborative effort on the part of the millions of women and men diagnosed with infertility and the nation’s medical, mental health, family building experts and policymakers to raise awareness about infertility.”

-ASRM

Infertility awareness week is the perfect time to bring awareness to infertility, offer support to loved ones, and help educate not only those dealing with infertility, but encourage education and understanding to the general public to help improve the acceptance, knowledge, and sensitivity.

The American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) will be hosting a twitter chat on 4/25 at 2-3 pm Eastern time where people can share advice, experiences, and have questions answered related to infertility.

In addition check for local walks, talks, meetings etc. during NIAW to show support, find support, or simply to educate yourself on infertility!

Michigan Center for Fertility & Women’s Health will be hosting a discussion about treatment options given by Dr. Carole Kowalczyk on April 26 at 6:30 pm at Margot European Day Spa. To register, call 248-642-3770.
